Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 at Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she was second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes in her respective events.
